De Dagenham à Paris et Rome, la distance n'est pas telle, pourrait-on-dire. Et pourtant, quell pas de géant pour moi, sur le plan personnel comme professionnel. J'avais grandi sans connaître personne en dehors de Dagenham, et ce fut une révélation. Je pouvais enfin m'exprimer pleinement. Ces cultures intenses, vibrantes, totalement différentes, ont été une source d'inspiration immédiate. Je me suis faite italienne en Italie, française en France, et j'ai trouvé mon proper style.

Cela faisait longtemps que j'attendais de pouvoir partager ces chansons, car elles représentent une grande - et merveilleuse - part de ma vie.
