"Here is yet another lovingly digitally remastered and presented release from EMI. The brave new world of post millenium technology has certainly given me as Sandie Shaw a new lease of life. This year I celebrate my sixtieth year and I find myself more in touch with my fan base than ever. With the aid of these record releases and through my website I am able to communicate more personally and directly with so many more people who enjoy my work. Ironically today I feel just as at home in the world as I did in the Sixties. Nowadays all sorts of people, young and older, from all over the world, email me to tell me the story that goes with their favourite song. It feels like I have a very personal existence within the psyche of so many as my music has been the soundtrack to some of the most important and emotional events in their life. I hope you enjoy this selection - that it is a fun discovery if these tracks are new to you and that it stirs up some great memories to those who are more familiar with the material. It is a great release for my birthday."
